ACHIEVEMENTS

This internship has given me skills and knowledge on every single aspect of the invent industry from invitations, event design concepts, catering, decorations, event set up/take down, guest relations, fundraising, event marketing, logistics, and facilities- just to name a few. I was able to directly experience things such as menu tasting, event planning meetings, event walkthroughs, and much more that has been invaluable to me in the furthering of my career. The opportunity to be apart of the planning/execution of events and the support of the Donor Engagement team at the Foundation has made me confident in my ability to work in this industry.

MAROON COATS FALL RETREAT

​Above picture is my boss, myself, and the other intern meeting with the guest speaker of the retreat while we were decorating . For the Maroon Coats fall retreat we went to Tyson Voelkel's (the CEO of the Foundation) house to set up the event, deal with rentals, and manage catering among other listed tasks. The event was to celebrate the Maroon Coats and allow them to network with powerful Aggie alumni.

​Above picture is the entrance sign for the Lead By Example campaign finale event called Four Billion Reasons. The event celebrated influential donors for rising over four billion dollars for the university. This is the biggest event the Foundation puts on for the year. Although my personal participation was small for the event, it was very informative to be able to see the planning and execution of such a large scale event.

Above picture is the table layout I arranged for the lunch the Foundation held for the San Antonio Livestock Expedition representatives. I coordinated the catering, rentals, floral aspects, and helped the event run smoothly among other smaller tasks. The event was designed to impress the representatives for the San Antonio Livestock Expedition to encourage future business with them.
